This book is the second edition to the previous book "Crank" by Ellen Hopkins. This book pick up where crank left off. In this book she has her baby. She thinks the baby will keep her occupied to no blow crank anymore, wrong. She starts working at a 7-11 and starts buying glass. Glass is a more pure drug than crank, bigger, stronger, and scarier. Crystal or Bree, how ever you want to look at her is now getting high and crashing. Getting skinnier by the day. Her mother finally kicks her out because of an incident that left her son under a chair and unable to get out because his mother was too high and crashed and couldn't hear him crying. She then starts staying with her new boyfriends cousin and babysits his daughters full time. Crystals mother takes her son and is staying with her at the house. Since Crystal babysits all day, she had to quite her job at the 7-11 in which the owner was a porn dealer and offered her a job as a prostitute but she turned it now anyhow. Now that she's staying at her mans cousins house, he stops by a lot and visits her. Then he goes away and she starts sleeping with his cousin. I cannot tell anymore of the story because then their would be nothing left. This book is definitely a must read though. Not for the young and immature.
